Everyone looks forward to the Seder feast as one of the most important dates in the Jewish calendar. We lovingly decorate the table with our special dishes and finest silverware in preparation for the sumptuous meal. The Seder table is adorned with ritualistic items that the leader of the Seder will need, including the Seder plate, which contains the ritual's different foods and plays a pivotal role in the Seder ceremony. This beautiful Seder plate is a unique piece of art and a perfect gift for Passover.

Handmade, colored and glazed with 24k gold ornaments, this round ceramic plate is engraved with the Hebrew names of the core ingredients of the Seder meal: Chazeret - (Romaine Lettuce) Zeroa - the shank bone, a symbol of sacrifice, as offered during Passover when the temple stood in Jerusalem Beitzah - the egg, representing the cycle of life, which brings hope in times of suffering Maror - bitter herbs, a reminder of the bitterness of the slavery our forefathers suffered in Egypt Charoset - a sweet paste, resembling the mortar used in building for Pharoah Karpas - a green vegetable similar to parsley, representing spring and the flourishing of the Israelites in the first years in Egypt The back of the plate is signed.

Passover wine cup for Elijah

Make a beautiful Passover table!
An important part of Passover Seder is when the family opens the front door. As a sign of trusting in God's protection you invite the prophet, Elijah, in. The Cup for Elijah is placed in the middle of the table.
Elijah's cup would be poured but not drank.
When you reach the part of Elijah in the Haggadah, you fill the glass with wine.
I have created this unique hand-crafted ceramic plate and cup set will grace any Seder table.
The plate design resembles the shape of an ancient oil lamp and carries the image of the prophet Elijah ascending to heaven. The blessing on this plate reads: Blessed are You, O L-rd Our G-d, Ruler of The Universe, Creator of the Fruit of the Vine: Baruch Atah Adonai Eloheinu Melech Ha’olam Bor-ay Peri Ha’gafen. At the festive Passover Seder meal, it is a custom to place a glass with wine on the table inviting Elijah to visit. “…There appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, which parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” (2 Kings 2:11)

The Shabbat dinner is the focal point of Jewish family tradition, and I never fail to get excited every time my family gets together around the Shabbat table. After we say the “Motzi” blessing, we uncover the Challah and give a piece to each family member. The Challah loaf deserves to be treated with respect, so I felt compelled to design this gorgeous Challah tray to honor it.
